After a recent visit to the Popham Ultralight gathering in the UK, Sky Cycles manager, John Goodrich was so impressed with the latest European designs that he decided to bring them here to Australia. The Quik and Quik GT450 models have proven to be so popular with UK weight shift pilots, that orders for the older designs have almost come to a standstill. These aircraft have hands off trim speed ranges of around 45mph-90mph by electric trim. The Quik can trim to 90 and 100-110; straight and level with surprising comfort. With features like "APS" (Active Pressure System (P&M Patent)) for the leading edge, electric trim, ergonomic cockpit, contoured monopole, hydraulic brakes, progressive suspension and wing tip stabilisers; this series of aircraft is years ahead of other designs. P
& M Aviation (Pegasus & Mainair) produce the best weight shift
aircraft in the world. |
